From 1 August 2024, the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) implemented a country-wide electronic invoicing mandate in Malaysia that covers B2G, B2B and B2C transactions. The Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), as an established Peppol Authority, will gradually introduce Peppol e-invoicing for all businesses in the country from 1 August 2024 to July 2025, in alignment with LHDN's rollout.
